The 21-20-40 is an externally mounted airborne Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) dual band antenna operating at 121.5 MHz and 243 MHz.
A fiberglass rod with an internal element is fitted into an aluminum base which contains foamed-in place matching circuits capable of handling up to 50 Watts power.
The method of construction provides protection from severe environmental conditions including high vibration, shock and temperature variations.
Each 21-20-40 is supplied complete with 5 feet of coaxial cable terminated in a BNC male connector.
