The 21-80-07 is a wide band 360° direction finding (DF) antenna designed specifically for the Cubic Defense AN/ARS-6 (V12) Personnel Locator System.
It comprises a fiberglass radome containing four matched monopole elements with electronic phasing and switching circuitry in the base. As well as covering all major emergency frequencies (121.5, 156.8, 243 and 406 MHz) this antenna provides wideband VHF-UHF direction finding with high accuracy.
