The 21-30-01 is a high strength UHF antenna designed for use on Supersonic aircraft. It comprises a symmetrical diamond shape blade offering low radar cross section compared to aerofoil section blades and is lightning protected to the requirements of antenna type AS-3191 (MIL-DTL-85670B).

The 21-30-01 is a sleeved monopole design constructed on an internal printed circuit card with a short circuit matching stub providing DC grounding across the RF connector.
