Designed to handle up to 1 kW CW of UHF power, this airborne blade antenna uses surface metal radiating elements bonded into a low loss glassfiber moulded shell of just 10 inches height. Unique element shaping combined with very low loss internal matching provides for maximum efficiency and internal filters provide a minimum of 20 dB isolation. The Lband section covers the full TACAN/IFF band of 960-1220 MHz and is capable of handling 3 kW peak power.
