The 21-40-31 is a bicone dipole of rugged construction for airborne applications where ground plane independent operation is required.
Constructed within a glass-epoxy radome with lightweight aluminum alloy elements, this antenna provides a broad-beam +2 dBi gain elevation pattern ideally suited to data link applications on maneuverable air vehicles.
The antenna is attached to the aircraft with four 10:32 (or similar) countersunk screws and is completely sealed and foam filled for long term reliability and environmental protection.
- 4 to 5 GHz Bandwidth
- Low height, rugged construction
- Greater than 2 dBi gain
- 100 Watts power handling
- Designed to MIL-STD-810 environmental conditions
- Suitable for use up to Mach 0.85
