The 20-50-32 is a low silhouette VHF/UHF twin dipole antenna suitable for vehicular and fixed site applications. It is particularly suited to Special Operations and provides excellent radiation diagrams and gain over the full 30-512 MHz frequency band.
Constructed from high strength glass/epoxy tubes with foamed-in-place elements, this antenna uses the same high reliability spring mounted base technology as developed for the US Army's AS-4697/VRC VHF/UHF vehicular antennas.
The antenna comprises three sections:- a base spring unit with unique structural coaxial connection, a lower half dipole element and an upper half dipole element of reduced diameter.
Positive screw locking attachments ensure very quick assembly with no tools required.
