The 20-30-05 is a right hand circularly polarized rapid-deployment antenna designed for a range of special operational requirements. As a free standing tripod mounted device, it provides +6.5 dBiC gain and can be “pointed” in any angle through a solid 180° to align with the satellite. It can also be detached from the tripod to allow hand held operation by grasping the ball-joint at the antenna base-mount. For vehicular or fixed ship borne use, the tripod is replaced by a snap-in ball jointed magnetic mount to enable the antenna to be instantly fixed to a ferrous roof or other surface.

In all cases the integral reflector is pushed down and locked in position. When tripod mounted or hand held, full 180° solid angle directional pointing is possible. When magnetically mounted, the antenna can be directed from zenith (90°) down to 45° elevation. The inherent beam-width of the antenna then maintains gain above 0° dBiC throughout 180° solid angle.

Deployment time is less then 30 seconds and total weight, including carry bag is approx. 7 lbs.
