The 20-30-08-2 is a light-weight, foldable, rapid deployment hand held UHF antenna designed for missions requiring narrowband directional operation. The antenna folds and unfolds quickly requiring no tools.
A 1.6 inch diameter ball on the base of the antenna makes for easy hand-held operation and is supplied complete with a lightweight tripod for use where a quickly established base station is required. In addition, an optional magnetic base with CECOM pattern fixing flange is also available for mounting on the side of a vehicle. The glass loaded composite antenna base supports a very efficient, side by side yagi array to provide excellent directivity and gain over 420 - 512 MHz.
Available as a “suite” of antennas across different frequency bands.
