Hand-held L-Band Dipole

The 20-40-01 is a lightweight “hand-held” dipole covering L-band data link frequencies. A 1.5 inch diameter ball on the base of the antenna makes for easy hand-held operation and can also be plugged into a roof mount adaptor (magnetic base or CECOM pattern) or a lightweight tripod where a rapid deployment base station is required. The glass loaded composite antenna base supports a very efficient, centre fed dipole to provide excellent omni-directivity and gain over 1.0 to 1.4 GHz
