The idea is simple, just take two HF antennas any frequency as long as they are the same and mount them as a dipole, by doing this you make an antenna that occupies a lot less space and has gain 2dB greater than a single monopole antenna mounted onto a flat ground plane, The antenna can be mounted either vertical or horizontal.
