This PLHW477 is a 1/2 wave ground independent antenna designed to give maximum performance and a gain of more than 3dB in situations where there is little or no ground plane. The PLHW477 is specially designed to give maximum performance on handheld radios and has a wide bandwidth of more than 10MHz under 1.7 to 1 SWR. The PLHW477 is made of tough nylon and is completely covered with a coating of thick polyolefin rubber, it is also available with on other frequencies or with other types of connectors. All Rojone products are manufactured in Australia with Australian parts and are covered by the Rojone 5 year warranty.
